Mechanical Engineering Technology (A40320PR)

Associate in Applied Science Degree

This program focuses on maximizing transferability to a four-year Engineering Technology Program. Students planning to transfer to a four-year Engineering Technology Program must contact the admissions office at the receiving institution to determine which courses should be completed prior to transfer.

This curriculum complies with the standard approved by the State Board of Community Colleges.

Students may be required to take developmental courses in Math and/or English as a result of high school GPA or pre-enrollment placement tests.  Therefore, the student may need more than the minimum number of semester hours listed for graduation. Consult a program advisor for more information.

This pathway does not meet the entrance requirements at any of the North Carolina public Bachelor of Science Engineering programs. Students wishing to pursue Engineering Science transfer should seek the Associate in Engineering degree.
